Reception and Administration Assistant

About the Role
Support with heart. Make an impact Your ability to communicate clearly and with empathy will be key, welcoming clients and visitors into our space, both at reception and in receiving and directing calls. You will need sensitivity in both contacting clients to schedule their initial appointments with our Counselling team and in seeking their feedback on their experience of our service. The role is responsible for a variety of administration tasks that support the efficient operating of our service. Computer literacy and experience is important as you will be ensuring accurate information is recorded for client bookings. You will have a practical, adaptable approach and understand the need for confidentiality across all elements of your work. Working in a small team environment, you will be proactive and take ownership of the role; although you’ll be based at one of Papatoetoe offices, you will work flexibly to provide cover as needed across our two other sites within the local area. The ideal candidate will have reception/administration and health industry experience. This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours Monday to Frida

Crisis Referrals Coordinator

About the Role
Communicate with Heart. Make a Lasting Impact. The Crisis Referrals Co-ordinator is pivotal in optimising the delivery of our services and fostering a client-centred approach internally and externally. In this full time role (40 hours per week Monday to Friday) you will receive all referrals to the Crisis Service, and will understand both the nature of our services, and those available in the community. By building positive relationships with external referral agencies, you ensure all necessary client information is obtained and use your passion and commitment to enable those accessing our services to receive the wrap-around support they need. Your ability to communicate with empathy will be key, as you will engage with clients to assess their needs and co-ordinate their appointments with the agency. Computer literacy and experience is important as you will be ensuring accurate information is recorded in confidential client databases and registers. The role also provides administration support to the Crisis Services Team Leader and works collaboratively across the organisation, providing back up support to Counselling Referrals and the Administration team. We are seeking a committed, self-motivated individual with exceptional organisation skills who prides themselves on providing excellent client service. The ideal candidate will have health industry and administration experience. You may be registered with a professional body, working towards registration or studying in a related field. Alternatively, you may have valuable experience in supporting clients with complex needs.
