Who we are

Counselling Services Centre is a registered charity that has supported the Counties Manukau community since 1986. For 40 years, we have provided counselling, crisis response and practical support for individuals and whānau experiencing trauma, distress, and difficult life circumstances.

We are a trusted local service focused on making support accessible to people when they need it most.

crisis support

Crisis Response

We work closely with the NZ Police to provide vital face-to-face 24/7 Crisis Response support and care to victims of sexual harm, family harm, and other traumatic experiences. Our team is committed to ensuring that those who have faced such challenges receive the immediate assistance they need in times of crisis.

Counselling

Counselling

At Counselling Services Centre, we understand that life can present various difficulties, and we are here to help. Our range of services includes counselling and social work support to individuals affected by sexual or family harm, depression, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, addiction, anxiety, and other distressing situations.

Our counsellors and social workers are trained and experienced in supporting people through trauma, distress, and difficult life situations.

We create a safe space where people can talk about what is going on and be heard without judgement.

We support tamariki, rangatahi, adults, and whānau with short-term support and longer-term counselling, depending on what is needed.

If you need support or have experienced trauma, you are welcome to contact us.
